more random professions yaaaay
These are just a few professions myself and a few of my alliance members BS about from time to time. If theyve been mentioned before then plz bare with me i didnt take the time to browse the whole forum lol. anyrate imma just list em off as i think of em and if they should go in the same campaign.
One of the first ideas we came up with was a form of animagus or a person who can trasform into different animals (kind of like a ranger and derv put together) which is probably a popular request but hey cant beat the classics. Primary att would be transformation and you gain - energy whenever using a skill tied to transformation (i.e. a transformation or transformation attack, etc)....not quite thought out but again kinda like a mix between a derv and ranger lol. One of my other ideas was a time manipulist. Creating temperal rifts at locations that effect all creatures within it. Whether its a support spell to give regen to all allies within its range or give opponents degen while in its area or stopping opponents dead in their tracks for a set amount of time or even like the assassin skills transporting someone to the location they wre at -- seconds ago or to a random area on the map. Primary Att would be Time manipulation, for every ally, enemy in the area of a time manipluation spell you gaine -- energy for every - ranks.
My next idea came from roman/greek mythology which i thought would be a good idea for a future campaign. First class would be a gladiator/berserker who used weapons tied together. such as the gladius and buckler or the trident and next that were used back in roman times. so like warriors give them several different kinds of weapons (spear and net, short sword and buckler, 2 handed sword) and a primary att of berserk which increases your attack rate by -% per rank or every - ranks. The next class is another support class to take some pressure offa monks but not replace them. A priest/priestess of the gods. Ones who use divine power of the gods to heal or deal dmg at the price of ones own blood. Kinda like the dervish's avatar this class would have a mix of that and ritualist spirits and necros minions. Elite skills would be summoning the gods themselves to fight with you for a set amount of time. The primary att would be sacrificial arts: for every 3 ranks you sacrifice 2% more health but spells effectiveness (green numbers) goes up by 5%. Making a kinda double edged sword but with the right skills and supporting classes a very good yet not overpowered class.
The following classes arent exactly tied to any campaign i had in mind just something kinda random that i thought would be cool.
Vampire: yes kinda like a necro but not as squishee. think of it as a necro/war using life stealing and damaging spells mixed with melee attacks. make their primary att vampirism which you have a constant -1 health degen but whenever you strike a foe with an attack you steal -- life. which yes im aware caaaan be overpowered but with enough thought it could be a very feasible class.
Mimic: this idea namely comes from my alliance leader after seeing the graven monoliths. Why not have a class that can hop around other classes with set skills? yes as most people are thinking ZOMG that would be horrificly overpowered....but if you set certain limits on it, it could very well be just another class with lots of options. The elite skill on the bar could be your way to transform (just so you cant hop around every class at will) so say elite skill "hammer warrior" or "axe warrior" etc each elite would have a build from said class which gives you the weapon, 9 in the weapon mastery or primary att which is being used, and the skillbar for a set amount of time. The primary att would be transformation, which for every rank your transformations last -- seconds longer. makes a few non elites that mimic skills or other elites from allies and enemies. The weapon could be a transmogrification staff that changes to whatever you need it to be.
anyrate flame it or love it i dont care just leave me some feedback lol
